As a supplier of specialty cold rolled strip steel, Youngstown Specialty Metals, Inc. is committed to assisting our customers with obtaining the right product for the job. We offer a full line of specialty strip, ranging from C1001 to C1095 carbon steel; 200, 300, and 400 series stainless steels, HSLA, and alloy products. These items can be ordered in a variety of tempers from annealed, to full hard, to hardened and tempered. We also can supply edge conditioned products as well as oscillated coils. Order quantities can range from several feet of material to truck load quantities.

The services of the YSM Metallurgical Staff are available to assist your company with determining the right product for your end use. We can support your company’s development project by creating a specialized product from scratch or use one of YSM’s uniquely processed steels known as the UniForm Series™ . The specialized properties offered in the UniForm Series™ of products often make it the only solution for difficult applications.

YSM’s Strapping Division offers a full line of stainless steels: 301, 304, 316, 317, 430 as well as carbon strapping, including “uncoated and waxed”. All strapping is available in 100 ft, 200 ft, 300 ft mini coils and 100 lb oscillate coils. The “uncoated and waxed” and the "painted and waxed" are also available in 1,000 lb oscillated coils. Gauges are available in .015”, .020”, .025”, and .030” in widths of 3/8”, 1/2”, 5/8” and 3/4”. Heavy Duty stainless strapping, .044” gauge, is available in widths of 3/4”, 1”, 1-1/4” and 2”. Custom sizes are available upon inquiry.

The Strapping Division also offers specialty items such as, punched carbon steel strapping, punched stainless steel strapping, plumbers tape, and embossed,( i.e. “No Asbestos”) stainless steel strapping. In addition, we carry a full range of carbon and stainless steel seals: Open, Closed, Pusher, Wing and Buckles.
